    The NBA scoring title is awarded to a player who has the highest points per game average in a season. This is the list of those players who won the most scoring titles in their NBA Career.

     1. Michael Jordan

    Michael Jordan has won season scoring titles more than any other player in the league. He became scoring champion for 10 times, including seven in a succession from 1987 to 1993.

     2. Wilt Chamberlain

    Wilt Chamberlain was a prolific scorer who led the NBA in scoring for 7 seasons. He and Michael Jordan are the only two players who have won seven scoring titles back to back. He holds more scoring records as well such as the only player to average over 50 points in a season and the only player to score100 points in a NBA game.

     3. George Gervin

    George Gervin was primarily known for his scoring abilities. He achieved the first scoring title in 1978 when he narrowly edged David Thompson. He went on to lead the NBA in scoring for three years in a row from 1978 to 1980 and got the fourth one in 1982. Prior to Michael Jordan, Gervin had the most scoring titles by any guard in league history.

     4. Allen Iverson

    Allen Iverson has got 4 scoring titles in his career. His regular season career scoring average of 26.7 points per game ranks sixth all-time, and his playoff career scoring average of 29.7 points per game is second behind Michael Jordan.

     5. George Mikan

    George Mikan, a pioneer of professional basketball, was a dominant scorer of his era. He became the scoring leader thrice in his career. The first one came in 1949 and other two in the following seasons.

     6. Neil Johnston

    Neil Jonston led the NBA in scoring for three consecutive seasons, from 1953 to 1955. He spent only eight years in the league and got retired at relatively young age due to a severe knee injury.

     7. Bob McAdoo

    It was only the second season of his career when McAdoo became the scoring champion in NBA. He also topped the league in field goal percentage in 1973-74. Then he went on to win 2 more scoring titles in the next two years.
