Various companies produce a wide range of basketball such as:

    Spalding

    Spalding was the first company started to manufacture basketball on commercial bases, also responsible for introducing the first ever basketball in 1894. In NBA games, only spalding balls are used since 1983. For men, the  color combination  is orange and black, for women, an orange colored basketball with white strips is used.

    Wilson

    This Chicago based sports equipment company was founded in 1914 by Thomas Wilson, it is an official supplier of basketballs to NCAA Tournaments, especially Wilson SOLUTION is used not only in NCAA championships but also approached by a number of high school leagues.

    Molten

    Molten is a Japanese company, founded in 1958, provides balls to all FIBA competitions including continental tournaments and many domestic leagues outside north America. It is also an official ball  supplier for olympics since 1984 and FIBA world basketball championships both for men and women. For men, official ball is GL7 and for women GL6.

    Mikasa is another Japanese sports equipment comany, specialized in volleyball, football and basketball making. The company started its functioning in 1917, makes differet types of ball and delivers especially to National Junior Basketball.
